Waukegan – State Senator Terry Link (D-Waukegan) had this to say about President Obama’s infrastructure plan:

“After years of wear and tear and the annual weather damage that our roads and highways see, President Obama’s infrastructure plan is well-timed. The citizens of the 30th District will be pleased to know that our community will see their fair share of this $302 billion plan, which will go a long way to fortifying transportation hubs across the northeast corner of our state.”

Yesterday, President Obama proposed a four-year, $302 billion highway bill that will build highways, bridges, railways and transit programs, as well as protect 700,000 jobs.
